Car comparison by Dave Puzey, SD1 Club Vice Chairman.
Vitesse vs ZT260 specs compared.
As you may have seen MG Rover have just launched a V8 rear wheel drive version of their MG ZT saloon. Autocar in their roadtest of 13th January 2004 concluded that: 'it deserves to succeed because, when you drive one, it reminds you of the last family car this company (MG Rover) built with a V8 motor. It was called the Rover SD1 Vitesse and is now something of a legend.'

Well it goes a little bit faster but then it should with an extra 70bhp! But look at the weight and the fuel consumption! Nor is it a hatchback and the MG does not have electric rear windows at standard!
